Ironic. I just had to come home from work in case we had to evacuate. The Los Angeles wildfires are threatening to jump the 101 freeway and come into my backyard, in Latigo Canyon.

Well, lessons I learned from Katrina: Go home while you can get home. Don't leave home until the danger has passed or you have evacuated with all of your animals. So, that's what I am doing.

Cross your fingers it stays on the other side of the freeway.
